Evangelistic Missions

Wales Revival Alliance Missions

Local (UK) gospel missions

At Wales Revival Alliance (WRA), one of our aims is to help local churches become "missional" in their focus. A local (ie within UK) WRA mission could typically range from 3-6 days and ideally should involve several local churches in the same catchment area. Working together in unity is where the Lord commands the blessing. A "mission" should ideally take place typically  after or alongside our "Kingdom Equipping" programme, although this is not essential as we will offer some training/equipping during the missional event.

We will supply a team of experienced UK evangelists to work with local churches on UK missions. Our programme will consist of impartation in  the mornings and then we go out onto the streets in the afternoons offering prayer and healing and leading people to Jesus. Those who are happy to give contact details will be advised that these details will be passed onto local churches for follow up.

Each evening, we will hold a Gospel/Healing service with dynamic worship in one of the local churches involved in the mission.  We do not charge any fees for these events but ask that the local churches would allow us to take up offerings, and/or that the local churches make donations to cover our costs. Finance is never a barrier for our missional work.

Overseas missions

WRA has excellent contacts in South America, Spain and elsewhere. Through these we take teams of evangelists trained by ourselves and our parent body Mission 24 for missions of between one and two weeks. These are superb opportunities for members of local churches to gain wider and deeper experience in sharing the Gospel and seeing God work through them in signs and wonders. They then bring this experience back to benefit their home churches and communities. See the menu on the right and the video below for more information.

Scriptural foundations

Our missional work is based on two scriptural foundations. The first is Mark 16:15-18 'And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."'

The second foundation from scripture is the biblical experience of being baptised in/filled with the Holy Spirit. This releases supernatural power gifts into the life of the believer, enabling them to reach the lost and see "signs following" as in Mark 16.
