Light and Truth for Swansea

<<< Back to Latest News

This mission took place in Swansea from 21 to 24 May 2025.

"Light and Truth for Swansea" was what Wales Revival Alliance is all about - supporting a group of local churches getting to reach the lost in their local area in unity!

In co-operation with Mission24, our original parent charity, we worked with Lifepoint Church, Pantygwydyr Baptist Church, Liberty Shiloh and Liberty Bethel we helped all four churches to field street teams on four days and Gospel healing meetings in the evenings, holding these in a different church each night.

By the end of the four day mission, our director Paul reported 137 salvation prayers with 74 people giving their contact details. In his report he said,

"To see two Muslims coming to the meeting on the last night was absolutely wonderful and there were many other Muslims out there who were open to the Truth. Jesus tells us to GO! Well done team for obeying HIS command. This has been an amazing mission and I thank you all for being such an amazing team. You all worked together in wonderful unity and sense of purpose. Keep praying that the discipleship and follow up is effective."

We received the following feedback after the mission from Pastor Oli of Lifepoint church :

"Follow up has seen some special fruit! A team of mature Christians from LifePoint Swansea and LifePoint Mayhill have been meeting up with some of the guys who met with evangelists during the Swansea mission.

  • Tommy is doing well and is getting baptised on 22 June. Steven (already baptised) and Marek are also doing well.
  • Marek is also getting baptised on 22 June.
  • All of them are attending church and are in discipleship friendships.
  • Andrew met a group of us last week, and he experienced Jesus's peace for the first time. He had been prayed for as well during the Swansea Mission. Two others,
  • Chris and Sami, are in contact. They both came on the Saturday night of Swansea Mission and want more of God.
  • Also a guy called Nigel, who was prayed for during the Swansea mission, has been re-invigorated in his faith.

All of them are either now walking with Jesus or much closer to him than before!"

We rejoice in all that God did through four churches coming together in unity to reach the lost. We look forward to many more such ventures across Wales!
