In July of 2023, while we were still putting together a structure for WRA, we were invited by Victory Church, Cwmbran to help them launch a church plant in Swffryd, Newport. With a team drawn from Mission24 evangelists, we had a dynamic and exciting time of salvations and healings. We provided training and teaching for the local team and "on-the-job" training on the streets before preaching the Gospel and healing the sick in the evenings. This is what the local pastor had to report...
"We were beyond blessed recently at Victory church Swffryd to have WRA come and led us in a day of evangelism training followed by an outreach healing night. The training was incredible and powerful, with Paul giving us sound teachings, increasing our faith and ministering through the power of the Holy Spirit.
"The healing outreach night was packed; many non Christians attended and there were multiple salvations, recomittments to the Lord and healings. We've been seeing healings and savations since that day and are so blessed beyond words for that time and our ongoing friendship with WRA.
"3 men from our congregation have since gone on to do evangelism training and we look forward to seeing more of Wales saved in partnership with WRA in the future."
Laura Augustyn, Victory church Swffryd.
Although we had not yet fully formed Wales Revival Alliance, this invitation is exactly the kind of event we envision for the future: bringing the power of the Holy Spirit and the Good News of salvation into communities in unity with local churches!
All glory to God!
